1. Who controls your data
IMS INTELIGENCIA COMPUTACIONAL, a company registered in Brazil, is the controller of your personal data. Brazil's General Data Protection Law (LGPD) applies to us, and so do the UK GDPR and the EU GDPR when we offer our products to people in the UK and the EU. For any request about your data, contact us at the e-mail address shown on your purchase receipt.
- Company: IMS INTELIGENCIA COMPUTACIONAL
2. What we collect, why, and our legal basis
- Name and e-mail: to create your account and give you what you bought (contract).
- Login details (encrypted password or Google sign-in): to authenticate you (contract).
- Purchases: to know what you can access and to meet tax rules (contract and legal obligation).
- Course progress (lessons watched, where you stopped, right answers, XP and study days): to show your progress, build your streak and unlock reviews and certificates (contract).
- Access logs (IP address, date and time): security, fraud prevention and the 6-month retention that Brazilian law (Marco Civil da Internet) requires (legal obligation and legitimate interests).
- Video player data (IP address and playback): to stream the lesson and remember where you stopped (contract).
- Google advertising cookies: to measure whether a purchase came from an ad, only with your consent.
- Support messages: to answer your request (contract).
In your browser we store the lesson language, the path you picked, your Gap Map marks and the name for your certificate. This data stays on your device and is not sent to us. Card details go straight to Stripe and we never store them. We do not use your data to train AI models, and we make no automated decisions that have legal or similarly significant effects on you.
3. Who we share it with
- Hosting, database and login: Lovable, Supabase and Cloudflare;
- Lesson video: Bunny.net;
- Payments, tax and receipts: Stripe;
- Ad measurement: Google, only with your consent;
- Professional advisers (legal and accounting), when needed;
- Authorities, when the law or a court order requires it.
We do not sell your data.
4. International transfers
We are based in Brazil, and some providers process data in the United States and the EU. The European Commission recognised Brazil as giving adequate protection in January 2026. For providers in the United States, transfers rely on the EU-US Data Privacy Framework and its UK extension where the provider is certified, or on standard contractual clauses (and the UK addendum or IDTA).
5. How long we keep it
- Account and progress: while your account exists;
- Purchases and tax records: 5 years, as tax law requires;
- Access logs: 6 months;
- Your cookie choice: until you change it or clear your browser.
After that, we delete or anonymise the data.
6. Your rights
You can ask to access your data, correct it, delete it, restrict or object to its use, and receive it in a portable format. Where we rely on consent, you can withdraw it at any time. Write to the e-mail address shown on your purchase receipt. We reply within one month. If you are unhappy with our answer, you can complain to the data protection authority where you live: the ICO in the UK, your national authority in the EU, or the ANPD in Brazil.
7. Complaints
You can complain to us about how we handle your data at the same address. We acknowledge every complaint within 30 days and tell you the outcome without undue delay.
8. Security
We use encryption in transit, encrypted passwords, per-user access control and private file storage. If a breach is likely to put you at risk, we tell you and the relevant authorities.
9. Cookies and browser storage
We use strictly necessary storage to keep you logged in and to process payments. With your permission, we also use Google Ads (Google LLC) cookies to record whether a purchase (order ID, amount and currency) came from an ad. Without your permission, no advertising cookie is set on your device and Google only receives cookieless signals. Our fonts are served from our own site. You can accept, decline or change your choice at any time under "Cookies" in the footer. Read how Google uses data at business.safety.google/privacy.
10. Children
Our products are for people aged 18 or over. We do not knowingly collect data from children.
11. Changes to this policy
When we change something significant, we tell you on the site or by e-mail. The date at the top shows the current version.
