1. Who we are

The New Dev (O Novo Dev) is a brand of IMS INTELIGENCIA COMPUTACIONAL ("we"), a company registered in Brazil. When you buy or use this website and its products, your contract is with that company.

2. Acceptance

By creating an account or buying, you agree to these Terms, the Privacy Policy and the Refund Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

3. What we sell

• Ebooks and kits in PDF, to download and read.
• Video course seasons, arranged in rooms with a video, questions and browser labs.
• Optional add-ons offered at checkout, which you only buy if you tick them.
• A free account, with the first 2 rooms of each season.

This is educational content. We do not promise a job, a salary or any career or financial result: the result depends on your study and the market. The presenter in the videos is an AI representation of the author.

4. Price and payment

The price shown on the site and at checkout is the total price, including any taxes that apply. Stripe processes the payment. Your card details go straight to Stripe and we never store them. You get a confirmation e-mail after payment.

5. Access and delivery

Your products appear in your student area as soon as the payment is confirmed. PDFs are yours to download and keep. Video lessons stay available while the course is online. If we ever close the course, we will e-mail you at least 30 days before.

6. Your right to cancel

You can cancel any purchase within 14 days of the order date and get a full refund, without giving a reason, even if you have already downloaded or started the content. This covers and goes beyond your statutory right to cancel under UK and EU consumer law. You can withdraw under My account, in My purchases, or by e-mail. The Refund Policy has the details.

7. Your account

You must be 18 or over to create an account. Give accurate details and keep your password safe. Your account is personal.

8. Licence

You get a personal, non-exclusive and non-transferable licence to use the products you buy. You may not resell, redistribute, publish or share the content, the PDFs or access to your account.

9. What is not allowed

• Using the service for illegal purposes, fraud or spam;
• Infringing copyright, including by distributing the products;
• Gaming the XP, streak or certificate system;
• Attacking the security of the site (malware, unauthorised penetration testing, automated scraping, bypassing access limits).

10. Certificate

When you finish every room in a season, you can download a certificate of completion. It records your participation in a non-formal course. It is not an academic qualification.

11. Intellectual property

Text, videos, labs, the "O Novo Dev" and "The New Dev" brands, design and software belong to IMS INTELIGENCIA COMPUTACIONAL or are used with permission.

12. Changes to the content and the service

We may update lessons and materials to fix mistakes or keep up with the market. We will not take away the essential content of a product you paid for.

13. Your statutory rights

We are responsible for the products we sell as the law requires. Digital content must be as described, of satisfactory quality and fit for purpose. If something is wrong, tell us and we will fix it or refund you. Nothing in these Terms limits your statutory rights as a consumer.

14. Account suspension

We may suspend an account for fraud, account sharing or a serious breach of these Terms. Where we can, we tell you first and give you the chance to respond.

15. Changes to these Terms

We tell you by e-mail or on the site before any significant change. The version that applies to a purchase is the one published on the day you bought.

16. Contact, law and courts

Questions, complaints and cancellations: the e-mail address shown on your purchase receipt. These Terms are governed by Brazilian law. If you live in the UK or the EU, you also keep the protection of the mandatory consumer law of your country, and you can bring a claim in the courts where you live.
